The crypto industry has taken rapid strides in recent years. Several tech giants and other companies have introduced cryptocurrencies for enhanced user experience. Several parents across the US want their kids to learn about cryptocurrencies early. Cointelegraph reports that a Study.com survey found that 64% of parents favor crypto education in schools. The survey includes over two-thirds of US parents and college graduates with an understanding of cryptocurrency. Various parents believe that the school administrations should also educate students about the Metaverse and Non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The spread of the crypto industry across multiple fields has urged parents to get cautious about the future.
Survey participants underwent the screening
The Study.com survey required participants to undergo a screening, ensuring they were well versed in cryptocurrency, Metaverse, and Blockchain. The survey excluded the parents who were unaware of the mentioned topics. Reports show that the study featured 884 US patents and 210 college graduates. The results indicate that cryptocurrency is integral to the tech world, and parents don’t want their children to lag. The desire for crypto education was stronger among the ones who trade cryptocurrencies or are involved in it in any other way. Several top US universities, including MIT and Harvard, have introduced crypto courses.
Crypto and Web3 are the future
Cointelegraph interviewed Colin Miles, CEO of TZ APAC; he said, “Overall, this trend will become a mainstay because a large number of exciting new jobs will come from the Web3 environment. It is, therefore, incumbent on education institutions to help get their student cohorts up for this important shift.” The world benefits a lot from better minds in the crypto industry, and its spread will boost jobs in the future. Several US government bodies should support the movement with the tech industries.
