Cardano Vasil Hard Fork

Cardano Vasil Hard Fork is going to happen on September 22 and will be initiated by joint IOG/Cardano Foundation team using the Hard Fork Combinator (HFC) technology. The HFC technology will make the Cardano upgrade without any hassle or interruption. It also aids the crypto exchanges and DApps to continue ADA trading and Cardano network usage during the hard fork.

Cardano Vasil Hard Fork Are Exclusive

Cardano Vasil Hard Fork is attempted to enforce some new rules or protocols. The hard fork divides the blockchain into two. The changes which will be enforced is not reversible and the blockchain history will not be available. The nodes must also upgrade the software and the blockchain must restart for a successful upgrade.

However in the Cardano Blockchain the hard fork is a bit different. The HFC or the Hard Fork Combinator (HFC) technology will enable the hard fork to be accomplished without any split or the need to restart the system. Both the old protocols and the new protocols remain and the history is not erased but preserved.

Cardano Vasil Hard Fork will also feature blocks of its earlier periods which include Byron, Shelley, Goguen, and Basho. Forthcoming hard forks will also combine Voltaire blocks in a single chain. Future migration like the Ouroboros Praos to Genesis does not require nodes to upgrade. In fact, the nodes can gradually upgrade after a hard fork as the blockchain supports old blocks.

The Vasil Hard Fork is a big upgrade and will significantly enhance the Cardano’s proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain with regard to transaction speed, DApps scalability, and less transaction costs. The Vasil Hard Fork also includes the Plutus v2 scripts, diffusion pipelining, reference inputs, inline datums, reference scripts, and data serialization primitive.

SPOs, Crypto Exchanges, and DApps Are Primed For Cardano Vasil Hard Fork

The Cardano platform has been primed for the Vasil Fork and 99% of mainnet blocks are created by the Vasil node 1.35.3. Furthermore, crypto exchanges are prepared to deliver liquidity and top DApps have confirmed their readiness for the upgrade.
