Investing app, Robinhood stated on Thursday that it has listed Cardano (ADA) and users can now trade Cardano (ADA) without incurring additional commission charges and fees. The latest news has made Cardano move into a bullish mode ahead of the much-anticipated Vasil hard fork in September.
Listing Of Cardano (ADA) By Robinhood Leads To A Bullish Trend
Commission-free stock and crypto trading app Robinhood informed the listing of Cardano (ADA) through a tweet on September 1. The move was done after many requests from the Cardano users. The Vasil hard fork will happen in all probability in September as per Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano
Cardano (ADA) is not the only token which was listed by Robinhood. Earlier it had also listed Compound (COMP), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Polygon (MATIC), Solana (SOL), and Chainlink (LINK). Last month the trading app had also listed Avalanche (AVAX) and Stellar (XLM) after the requests from its users. The values of both the crypto assets surged higher after listing on the platform.
Robinhood also informed that it has also enabled deposits and withdrawals of MATIC tokens on the Polygon blockchain. Users will get to use 37,000 dApps on Polygon such as AAVE, Uniswap, and Balancer to conduct lending, borrowing, providing liquidity, and swapping.
Right now, ADA is not witnessing any drastic surge in its values and it was last changing hands at $0.44, down nearly 3% in the last one day and so also Robinhood Markets (HOOD) stock price is trading at $9.04, down over 5% at the time of writing. However Cardano prices are expected to surge and experts predict that it could once again rise above $0.55 in anticipation of the Vasil hard fork.
Vasil Hard Fork Could Push Cardano ADA Price Above $0.55
The Vasil Hard Fork will happen with 75% of the SPOs running the 1.35.3 node while PoolTool data reveals that the figure is close to 85% of mainnet block production. The delay is probably from the exchanges and dApps end. Vasil hard fork will not implement until the top 5 exchanges are ready to provide liquidity. It includes Binance and other large exchanges who have already started upgrading to 1.35.3.
